The Crowning of a Queen - Meet Derby Chukwudi Miss NJ USA 2023

Derby's piece of advice for young women starting their investment portfolio: Start soon and start small. Even it's $5 a day that you save, over time it adds up. You can really achieve big dreams by saving a little every paycheck or every month. Find an investment platform that works for you and use it. I used Robinhood when I was in college. Allow it to help you allocate your funds in investments you like. Speak to a financial advisor at your bank. They are there to help you and guide you in the right financial direction.

Mint History 101: High Society Vintage Adventures in Miami

My wild adventures in sourcing and selling Vintage throughout the years have led to encounters with some of the world's most iconic, creative people. Prior to starting Mint, I used to work for an infamous vintage store in Miami (we shall not name names, but if you can guess, kudos to you!). The store was sprawling and mysterious, like a dense jungle, only instead of animals and plants, this feral shopping haven had 10,000 square feet of the world's finest vintage and designer pieces. Working there was like nothing I'd ever experienced in retail before. Everyday brought something new and exciting, be it a person or a one of a vintage piece you would only find there. And this day on  Dec 5, 2009 as no exception.

Mint Girl Feature - Vicky Mosinho

It goes without saying that we are pretty darn picky around here. About literally everything. But especially about the faces on our site. These girls embody what it means to be a Mint Girl. The last 8 years we have cultivated a following of women of all ages that we consider to be Mint Girls. A microcosm of bad ass women and unicorns with extraordinary style.

    The Little Store That Could

The main real difference between big business and small business, of any kind, is Soul. The ethereal essence of our human spirit. Small businesses, in particular brick and mortars, are corporeal manifestations of an individual's soul. In other words, we are literally putting our hearts out on the street for you to walk in and walk all over. And we love it.

  • The Art of 'Woman's Work' - Artist Spotlight - Jill Scipione

The Art of 'Woman's Work' - Artist Spotlight - Jill Scipione

Women are capable of anything, we know that better than anyone. But there is a certain kind stereotyping as to the kind of work we are traditionally expected to perform. It's usually the kind of stuff men would typically never touch, i.e. Crocheting, sewing, cooking, etc. But why is a practice that is just as technical and tedious as any other art form disregarded as nothing more than a craft or hobby. Jill Scipione has taken the age old technique and pushed it to new heights with her window installation.

    Allison Strong In Her Element

Sometimes I like to think of the doors to our shops as Magnets. They attract other like-minded, creative, ambitious women. The kind of women that inspire us to keep pushing, grow our brand and continue elevating our Female kind.
